The 930E is a 300 ton end dump with electric wheel drives. Power is by a Cummings engine driving an alternator which then powers the wheel motors. We did the initial concept work and colaberated on the final design with GE. The truck is used worldwide with the largest population in Canada working in the oil sands area.

The tranmission is a double planetary with oil cooled wet disc brakes. There is one driving each side of the truck.
